Remember the potter and the clay, we may mar the vessel, yet the Master Potter can remold us into vessels of perfection through his grace. As we come before him in repentance confessing our sin and submitting ourselves in obedience to his word we are told in 2 Tim. 2:21, If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
Banks sometimes send out letters which use phrases like, “we may” or “at our discretion” which do not really engender much trust in them or make us feel we can depend on them. However, our Lord says, “I will”. Faith knows that God always performs what He promises.
